I warned myself from the very beginning not to like him. He had the good looks, killer smile, and gorgeous eyes. He talked to me first, basically forcing me to like him. From the very beginning he told me there was someone else & I was happy for him. It was just a crush, it would go away. Stupidity on my part. I feel so pathetic. Knowing how much he likes her and yet there’s still this part of me hoping that he likes me, even just a little. But, I’m still happy that we had a friendship this summer. I trusted him, which isn’t easy for me to do. He listened and didn’t judge my story at all. He was someone different, rare to find. I am thankful for meeting him & will never forget this friendship.
